โดยจะมีการจัดขบวนแห่รถประดับลำไย พร้อมทั้งจัดให้มีการประกวดเหมือนเช่นทุกปีที่ผ่านมา โดยในปีนี้ได้กำหนดธีมของการจัดขบวนรถแห่เพื่อเทิดพระเกียรติฯ สมเด็จ พระนางเจ้า ฯ พระบรมราชินีนาถ เนื่องในโอกาสวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา 12 สิงหาคม 2558 โดยให้เป็นไปอย่างสมพระเกียรติ โดยทั้ง 8 อำเภอของจังหวัดลำพูนได้พร้อมใจกันส่งขบวนรถเข้าร่วมงานจำนวน 11 ขบวน เข้าร่วมประกวด 10 ขบวน ส่วนอีก 1 ขบวนจะเป็นขบวนรถนำที่ตกแต่งเทิดพระเกียรติฯ ขององค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดลำพูน โดยแบ่งรางวัลการประกวดออกเป็น รางวัลชนะเลิศ รางวัลรองชนะเลิศอันดับ 1 และ รางวัลรองชนะเลิศ อันดับสอง ซึ่งจะได้เงินรางวัลพร้อมโล่ ส่วนอีก 7 ขบวนจะได้รับรางวัลชมเชย โดยจะได้รับโล่รางวัลทุกขบวน โดยขบวนทั้งหมดมีการประดับตกแต่งด้วยไฟฟ้าส่องสว่าง และตั้งแสดงเพื่อให้นักท่องเที่ยวและประชาชนที่ร่วมชมงานสามารถบันทึกภาพตลอดทั้งงาน นอกจากนั้นยังจัดให้มีการประกวดธิดาชาวสวนลำไย ซึ่งกำหนดสาวงามที่เข้าร่วมประกวดจะต้องเป็นชาวลำพูน รวมทั้งมีการแสดงมหรสพอีกจำนวนมาก ส่วนไฮไลท์ของงานจะมีการแสดงน้ำพุดนตรีในลำน้ำกวง ที่จะสร้างความตื่นตาตื่นใจให้แก่นักท่องเที่ยวและประชาชนที่มาร่วมชมงานในครั้งนี้
