ฉันไม่เคยคิดเลยว่าตัวเองจะมาเรียนต่อด้านศิลปะได้ แถมเมื่อก่อนยังไม่รู้ด้วยซ้ำว่าคณะพวกนี้มีแยกหลากหลายสาขาขนาดนี้ได้แต่ฟังจากคนอื่นมาว่าเรียนไปก็หางานทำยาก ไม่มีจะกิน เลยทำให้ความคิดที่จะเรียนศิลปะไม่เคยอยู่ในความคิดเลย แต่ก็มีจุดเปลี่ยนบางอย่างที่ทำให้อยากเรียนด้านนี้ขึ้นมา
ตอนเป็นเด็ก พ่อเคยพาไปเรียนศิลปะ ซึ่งในตอนนั้นทางสถาบันได้นำผลงานที่ทำในเวลาเรียนส่งไปประกวดที่ญี่ปุ่น และได้รางวัลมา แต่ตอนนั้ก็ไม่ได้คิดว่าตัวเองจะมีความถนัดทางด้านนี้เลยไม่ได้สานต่อ และสุดท้ายก็เลิกเรียนไป ในสมัยประถม ฉันชอบวาดรูปการ์ตูนเวลาว่างๆ เหตุผลที่วาดก็เพราะเพื่อนสนิทชอบวดรูป เราไม่มีอะไรทำ เลยอยากวาดบ้าง ก็ให้เพื่อนสอนบ้าง ดูการ์ตูนแล้วเอามาวาดตามบ้าง ก็วาดมาเรื่อยๆจนกระทั่งขึ้นมัธยม เลยทำให้อยากลองไปร่วมวาดประกวดกับเพื่อน แต่เพราะเพื่อนและครูไม่เห็นในความสามารถของเรา เค้าจึงไม่ได้สนใจ หลังจากนั้นเลยทำให้คิดว่า เราต้องทำให้ได้ ต้องทำให้เค้าเห็นว่าเราก็ไม่ได้ด้อยกว่าเขา เขาจะได้ไม่มาดูถูกเรา ทำให้เกิดความคิดที่จะมาเรียนด้านการออกแบบต่างๆ จึงไปขอพ่อเรียนพิเศษ แต่พ่อก็ไม่คิดว่าเราจะจริงจังเลยไม่สนับสนุน พอขึ้นมาม.5ได้มีโอกาสไปแลกเปลี่ยนที่สวิตเซอร์แลนด์โดยทุนจากafsเป็นเวลา1ปี ในตอนนั้นได้เรียนวิชาศิลปะและเพื่อนในห้องก็จะชื่นชมว่าเราวาดรูปได้ดี ทำให้รู้สึกมีกำลังใจว่าตัวเองก็ไม่ได้แย่ขนาดนั้น อย่างน้อยนี้ก็คงเป็นทางที่เราจะสามารถสานต่อได้ เกือบทุกครั้งที่ได้ทำงานหรอเรียนศิลปะจะรู้สึกมีความสุขมาก นี่เป็นนหนึ่งจุดเปลี่ยนที่ทำให้รู้ว่าตัวเองอยากเรียนอะไร หลังจากกลับมาประเทศไทยฉันใช้เวลาเกือบปีในการฝึกฝนเพื่อสอบเข้ามหาลัย โดยเป้าหมายคือcommunication designแต่ปีที่สอบอาจจะเป็นเพราะเตรียมตัวน้อยไป เลยทำให้สอบไม่ติดในสาขาที่อยากเรียน แต่ติดแฟชั่นจึงเลือกที่จะเรียนไปก่อนแล้วปีหน้าลองสอบใหม่ เพราะการที่เราใช้เวลา1ปีในการเรียนก็เหมือนเราได้ฝึกฝนทุกๆวัน ได้เรียนรู้มากขึ้นด้วย ปีถัดมาเลยสอบติด ซึ่งพอเข้าไปเรียนก็รู้สึกชอบจริงๆ ถึงจะมีเครียดบ้างเวลาที่คิดงานไม่ออก แต่ก็ยังมีความสุขที่ได้เรียน และจะพยายามแก้ปัญหาต่างๆให้ตัวเองผ่านไปได้ แต่ในความสุขนั้น พอลองกลับมามองย้อนดูก็รู้สึกว่าชีวิตยังไม่มีจุดหมายพอ เหมือนว่า เราเรียนไปวันๆ สนุกกับเพื่อนไปวันๆ ไม่ค่อยคิดว่าอนาคตจะเป็นอย่างไร เลยเป็นเหตุผลที่อยากจะสมัครทุนนี้ เนื่องจากถ้าเราได้ทุนก็จะทำให้เราต้องขยันมากกว่าคนอื่น มีการผลักดันและปรับตัวมากขึ้น การสมัครทุนจึงเป็นทางเลือกที่คิดว่าอยากทำ เพราะเราอยากเปลี่ยนแปลงตัวเองให้มีความก้าวหน้ามากกว่านี้ การไปอยู่ต่างประเทศจะทำให้เราเห็นวัฒนธรรม ประเพณีและความเป็นอยู่ของคนชาตินั้นๆมากขึ้นซึ่งช่วยให้เรามีความคิดและการมองโลกที่กว้างขึ้นและยังมีผลในความคิดสร้างสรรค์ของเราด้วย การที่เลือกประเทศเกาหลี เพราะมองเห็นว่าเกาหลีเป็นประเทศที่มีการพัฒนาอย่างก้าวกระโดด แสดงให้เห็นถึงศักยภาพของประเทศ ประชากร เศรษฐกิจและที่สำคัญคือการศึกษา เมื่อมองจุดนี้เลยคิดว่าเกาหลีเป็นทางเลือกที่ดีที่จะไปศึกษาต่อ และอีกเหตุผลหนึ่งคือภาษา เมื่อเราได้ภาษาที่3ก็จะทำให้เรามีโอกาสมากขึ้นด้วย การไปศึกษาต่อที่เกาหลี เมื่อเราได้ความรู้ด้านดีไซน์ของเกาหลีหรือวัฒนธรรมต่างๆ เรก็จะสามารถมาปรับใช้กับงานของเราได้มากขึ้น และอาจจะส่งผลให้คนในชาติได้รู้จักและเข้าใจในความเป็เกาหลีมากขึ้นด้วย
