There are three reasons why I continue to study higher education in Japan. First of all, there are several opportunities and experiences which I can acquire and apply for my future life there. For example, living with other people that come from differential place, I can learn how to adjust myself with them. I believe this is indispensable skill to socialize in the world of globalization. Second, Japanese is generous. I notice this characteristic form my Japanese teacher when I take Japanese course last year. She is willing to answer me all about my doubt, teach me Japanese culture but she is also about to learn Thai culture. I find these attributes are benefit for me to obtain chance if I make a mistake, because I can try to practice with all my ability. Third, Japanese and Thai have many similarities. For instance, our lifestyle that relates to religion, we have doctrine to follow. I think if I am there, I am still being in this way as Thai saying “Far from home but not far from temple.”

I have three essential reasons. First of all, it provides me the scholarship. Second, I will have an opportunity to interchange culture and language. Third, I will learn to adjust myself with other people.

Firstly, the scholarship I will obtain. If the committee chooses me for this scholarship, I will continue my advanced education in the quality university. Most of all, it helps my parent to lessen burden and I will use the test to prove my potential. Besides, in my view, my parent may proud of myself if I get this scholarship.

Secondly, I desire to exchange culture and learn other languages. Since APU is the international university, thus there are students from all over the world. This is the best chance that I not only can get knowledge, but in the same time I can promulgate my culture and get many other cultures in the world. Furthermore, APU educational system is bilingual, English and Japanese. Accordingly, I can practice more my both languages skills and I can learn more language such as Chinese or Spanish. Most of all, I can gain the confidence to use and perform in everyday life.

Finally, I can learn how to live with other people. In my opinion, APU social is like a model of world social, as I see that students come from around the world. It is like a world social that consists of many peoples. Therefore, it is the necessity to learn how to live without problems. This skill is essential for every human to live with peace and it will be used in my future life to communicate in world society.

There is one incident that is my inspiration to select [APS] College of Asia Pacific Studies.

My lifelong passion for politics was sparked in 2003 when I read the novel named Si Phandin (4 Reigns). I had been spending all days to read this book. The story is about one woman who lived since King Rama 5 reign until King Rama 8 reign. The story background shows Thai state of society in the age of changeover from former times to modern age which relates many world occurrences, for example World War 1, Indo – China War. From these, I feel that my life, including other people in this world, is concerned with the politics. There was nothing more intriguing to me then than paying attention to international news, especially impinges upon Thailand.

Until now, when I am in high school, there are a lot of dilemma which my country and other country are encountering, for instance, terrorism, energy crisis, or schism in nation. These are close to my life. I have to be cautious when I go out in public place because of the terrorist. I have to save my expenditure because of rinsing – price of merchandise as a result of oil price. I have to obtain pressure on account of the quarrel in politics.

Realizing these problems, I desire that I help my nation and this world to solve these plights. Even if I am a little man in this world, I think I can use my potential with other people to solve them.
