มาตรา14 รถใดที่จดทะเบียนแลว ห้ามมิให้ผู้ใดเปลี่ยนแปลงตัวรถหรือส่วนใด
สวนหนึ่งของรถให้ผิดไปจากรายการที่จดทะเบียนไว้และใช้รถนั้น เว้นแต่เจ้าของรถนํารถไปให้นายทะเบียนตรวจสภาพก่อน

มาตรา ๑๓ รถใดที่จดทะเบียนแล้ว หากมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงสีของรถให้ผิดไปจากที่จดทะเบียนไว้เจ้าของรถต้องแจ้งนายทะเบียนภายในเจ็ดวันนับแต่วันเปลี่ยนแปลง
