โดยมีวัตุประสงค์เพื่อกระตุ้นและสร้างแรงจูงใจให้สถานประกอบกิจการที่มีการดำเนินงานและการบริหารจัดการตามกฎหมายความปลอดภัย อาชีวอนามัยและสภาพแวดล้อมในการทำงานได้อย่างมีประสืทธิภาพ และส่งผลให้ไม่มีการประสบอันตรายจากการทำงานของลูกจ้างถึงขั้นหยุดงานหรือสูญเสียวันทำงาน และสถานประกอบกิจการที่สามารถดำเนินการได้ตามหลักเกณฑ์ 2015 ที่กำหนดจะได้รับการประกาศเกียรติคุณเพื่อยกย่องเชิดชูเกียรติ
