1. เครื่องจักรที่ผลิตในประเทศไทยไม่มี ต้องพึ่งพิงเครื่องจักรและเทคโนโลยีจากต่างประเทศในการผลิต โดยการนำเข้าเครื่องจักรจากต่างประเทศแทบทั้งหมด จึงทำให้มีการพึ่งพาในขั้นตอนการผลิตจากต่างประเทศในระดับสูง โดยขาดปัจจัยพื้นฐานรองรับเมื่อมีปัญหาจากขั้นตอนดังกล่าว
