จากที่เราได้ไปลงพื้นที่ทำโครงการภัยแล้งหมู่บ้านดอนน้อย เราก็พบว่าปัญหาเกิดจากที่ฝนไม่ตกมาเป็นระยะเวลาหลายเดือน และจากการที่ได้ไปสอบถามปัญหาการไม่มีน้ำใช้กับชาวบ้าน ชาวบ้านได้รับความเดือดร้อนมาก เพราะการที่ไม่มีน้ำใช้กระทบถึงการดำรงชีวิตในหลายๆด้าน และเดือดร้อนมากที่สุดคือ การที่ไม่มีน้ำใช้ในชีวิตประจำวัน เพราะน้ำมีแค่อุปโภค ไม่สามารถนำมาบริโภคได้ น้ำที่จะบริโภคได้นั้นคือน้ำฝนที่ชาวบ้านได้มีโอ่งเก็บไว้ บ้านไหนไม่มีโอ่งเก็บน้ำฝนก็ซื้อน้ำมาบริโภค
