งานประเพณีแห่เทียนพรรษา เป็นประเพณีทางพุทธศาสนา ของชาวอุบลราชธานี ซึ่งมีความเจริญในพุทธศาสนา วัฒนธรรม และประเพณีมาเป็นเวลายาวนาน ถือเป็นงานบุญที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดของจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี โดยได้กำหนดจัดงานขึ้นในวันขึ้น 15 ค่ำเดือน 8 และแรม 1 ค่ำเดือน 8 หรือวันอาสาฬหบูชาและวันเข้าพรรษา จัดให้มีขึ้นทุกปี
