“อุทยานแห่งชาติเขาหลัก – ลำรู่ (อช.เขาหลัก – ลำรู่) ” เป็นอุทยานแห่งชาติซึ่งมีพื้นที่คลอบคลุม 4 อำเภอในจังหวัดพังงา ได้แก่ อ.ตะกั่วป่า อ.กะปง อ.ท้ายเหมือง และ อ.เมือง มีสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวแยกจากกันเป็นสองส่วน คือ ชายหาดและน้ำตก

ส่วนแรกเป็นสถานที่ตั้งของที่ทำการอุทยานฯ อยู่บนเนินแหลมปลายหาดเขาหลัก มีชายหาด 2 แห่งซึ่งนักท่องเที่ยวสามารถเดินจากที่ทำการฯ เพื่อลงไปพักผ่อนหรือเล่นน้ำได้ ชายหาดแรกจะตั้งอยู่ทางทิศตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือห่างจากที่ทำการฯ ประมาณ 200 เมตร สามารถเดินไปได้โดยสะดวก ชายหาดนี้เป็นชายหาดซึ่งยาวต่อเนื่องมาจาก “ชายหาดเขาหลัก” ช่วงปลายฝั่งทิศตะวันตกเฉียงใต้แต่ถูกคั่นด้วยกลุ่มก้อนหินน้อยใหญ่บริเวณปลายแหลมทำให้ไม่สามารถเดินต่อเนื่องถึงกันได้ ชายหาดนี้เป็นชายหาดเล็กๆ ที่มีแนวหาดยาวประมาณเพียงแค่ไม่ถึง 100 เมตร หาดทรายเป็นสีน้ำตาลเปลือกไข่ มีหินก้อนใหญ่น้อยกระจายตัวอยู่ทั่วไปบริเวณด้านหน้าหาดทำให้ไม่สามารถลงเล่นน้ำได้โดยสะดวก มีต้นไม้ชายหาดซึ่งแผ่กิ่งใบให้ร่มเงาครึ้ม เป็นชายหาดที่เหมาะสำหรับการมานั่งรับลม ชมทะเล พักผ่อนอ่านหนังสือมากกว่าการมาว่ายน้ำเล่น ลึกเข้าไปจากบริเวณชายหาดด้านนี้เป็นที่ตั้งของบ้านพัก อช.เขาหลัก – ลำรู่ (ห่างจากชายหาดไม่เกิน 100 เมตร) ซึ่งสร้างขึ้นมาในลักษณะของบังกะโลริมเนินเขาหันหน้ารับลมทะเลดูสวยงาม สะอาด บรรยากาศดี มีเครื่องปรับอากาศภายใน ราคา/ห้อง/คืน อยู่ที่ 500 บาทเท่านั้นซึ่งนับว่าไม่แพงเลยสำหรับบังกะโลติดเครื่องปรับอากาศบรรยากาศริมชายหาดแบบนี้
