บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยเรื่อง การย้อมผ้าฝ้ายจากเปลือกต้นมะยม วิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการย้อมผ้าฝ้ายด้วยเปลือกต้นมะยมและเมื่อใช้สารช่วยติดต่างชนิดกัน ความคงทนของสีผ้าฝ้ายต่อการซัก เปรียบเทียบสีผ้าฝ้าย เมื่อใช้สารช่วยติดแต่ละชนิด ในการศึกษาการย้อมผ้าฝ้ายจากเปลือกต้นมะยมใช้สารช่วยติดสี 3 ชนิดที่หาได้จากธรรมชาติ คือ ขี้เถ้าจากผักโขมหนาม น้ำมะเฟือง และน้ำโคลนที่ได้จากดินจังหวัดกาฬสินธุ์ โดยมีวิธีการย้อม 2 แบบคือ ใช้สารช่วยติดก่อนการย้อมและใช้สารช่วยติดหลังการย้อม ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ผ้าจากกลุ่มการย้อมน้ำขี้เถ้าผักโขมหนามก่อนการย้อมสี มีค่า L* น้อยที่สุด คือ 46.67 และ ผ้าจากกลุ่มการย้อมน้ำคั้นจากผลมะเฟืองก่อนการย้อมสี ค่า L* มากที่สุด คือ 59.95 จากกลุ่มตัวอย่างทั้งหมด ดังนั้น ผ้าจากกลุ่มการย้อมน้ำขี้เถ้าจากผักโขมหนามก่อนการย้อมสี ให้สีผ้าที่มีความเข้มมากที่สุด ต่างจากผ้าจากกลุ่มการย้อมน้ำคั้นผลมะเฟืองก่อนการย้อมสี ที่ให้ผ้าที่มีความเข้มที่จางหรือสีซีดมากที่สุด จากกลุ่มตัวอย่างทั้งหมด
