  หัวข้อสารนิพนธ์   การศึกษาและพัฒนาวัสดุกันกระแทกจากวัสดุธรรมชาติเพื่อบรรจุภัณฑ์ มะม่วง นักศึกษา   นางสาวสุมารินทร์ ศิริกุลไพบูลย์ รหัสประจำตัว   55631011 ปริญญา    ครุศาสตร์อุตสาหกรรมมหาบัณฑิต สาขา    เทคโนโลยีผลิตภัณฑ์อุตสาหกรรม พ.ศ.    2557 อาจาร์ยที่ปรึกษาสารนิพนธ์ รองศาสตราจารย์อุดมศักดิ์  สาริบุตร    บทคัดย่อ แม้ว่าในปัจจุบันวัสดุอย่างโฟมจะหาง่าย ราคาถูก สะดวกต่อการผลิต แถมอายุการใช้งานก็ยาวนานเหมาะสำหรับผลิตภัณฑ์หลายๆ ประเภท แต่คุณสมบัติที่มีอายุยืนยาวนี่แหละกลับกลายสภาพเป็นขยะกองมหึมาที่ยากต่อการทำลาย อีกทั้งยังเป็นตัวการสำคัญที่ทำให้โลกใบนี้ร้อนขึ้นในทางอ้อม และแม้ว่าพัฒนาการทางด้านเทคโนโลยีรีไซเคิลจะมีบทบาทสำคัญในการลดปัญหาขยะพลาสติกและโฟมได้ดีขึ้น แต่การใช้อย่างต่อเนื่องก็ไม่เป็นผลดีต่อโลกแสนสวยใบ                 สิ่งที่สำคัญนอกจากฟังชั่นการใช้งานแล้ว การปกป้องสินค้านั้นๆให้ไปถึงมือผู้บริโภคอย่างปลอดภัยและสมบูณร์แบบที่สุด คือวัสดุที่ช่วยลดการกระแทก ซึ่งการออกแบบบรรจุภัณฑ์เพื่อป้องกันอันตรายทางกายภาพแนวทางการออกแบบที่สามารถปกป้องสินค้าได้ดี การเลือกใช้วัสดุที่ให้ผลในการคุ้มครองเพียงพอ ในระดับราคาที่เหมาะสมจะช่วยควบคุมต้นทุนของสินค้าและลดการสูญเสียของสินค้าลงได้ภายในบรรจุภัณฑ์ขนส่งในทุกสภาวะการขนส่ง ระหว่างการเคลื่อนย้ายไม่ว่าใช้แรงงานคนหรือเครื่องมือในการขนย้าย เป้าหมายที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการเคลื่อนย้ายของวัสดุกันการสั่นกระแทกที่ใช้แล้ว การเลือกวัสดุกันการสั่นกระแทกที่สามารถหมุนเวียนนำกลับมาใช้ใหม่ได้จะทำให้ผู้ส่งออกสามารถแข่งขันในตลาดได้ มากกว่าที่จะเลือกวัสดุกันการสั่นกระแทกที่ยากหรือลำบากต่อการหมุนเวียนนำกลับมาใช้ใหม่ ในปัจจุบัน  ทั่วทุกภูมิภาคประเทศไทยมีการผลิตสิ่งที่ได้จากธรรมชาติและจะเหลือเศษวัสดุจากธรรมชาติเป็นจำนวนมาก การนำเอาเศษวัสดุที่ได้จากธรรมมาพัฒนาต่อยอดทางด้านการออกแบบ และอีกทั้งยังทำให้เกิดแนวทางใหม่ๆสำหรับในแวดวงอุตสาหกรรม จากปัญหาดังกล่าวผู้วิจัยจึงคิดที่จะศึกษาและพัฒนารูปแบบของวัสดุกันกระแทกจากวัสดุจากธรรมชาติในการนำเอาเศษวัสดุจาธรรมชาติมาขึ้นรูปเป็นวัสดุกระแทกเพื่อ ลดแรงสั่นสะเทือนจากการขนย้าย ซึ่งวัดจากผลการทดสอบจากสถาบันที่ได้รับการยอมรับเป็นที่แพร่หลาย และวัสดุที่ได้คัดเลือกมาเพื่อใช้ลดแรงกระแทกในการขนส่งมะม่วงพรรณน้ำดอกไม้ก็ยังคงยืดเวลาการเก็บรักษาสินค้าไปจนถึงผู้บริโภค และยังเป็นแนวทางที่จะช่วยลดปัญหาการย่อสลายที่จะเกิดขึ้นได้ เพราะจะช่วยลดการใช้โฟมและพลาสติกที่ย่อสลายยาก
