บทคัดย่อ

การศึกษาโครงงานเรื่องการสร้างลวดลายไฮโพไซคลอยด์ด้วยโปรแกรม GSP และโปรแกรม Mathematica มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะของเส้นโค้งที่เกิดจากการเคลื่อนที่แบบไฮโพไซคลอยด์และลักษณะของเส้นโค้งที่เกิดจากสมการเบื้องต้นของพิกัดจุดของไฮโพไซคลอยด์ และลวดลายไฮโพไซคอลยด์ โดยใช้เครื่องมือในการจัดทำโครงงาน คือ โปรแกรม GSP เวอร์ชั่น 4.06 และโปรแกรม Mathematica เวอร์ชั่น 7
ผลการศึกษาปรากกฎว่า ลักษณะของเส้นโค้งจะแตกต่างกันขึ้นอยู่กับรัศมีของวงกลม และลักษณะของเส้นโค้งที่เกิดจากการเคลื่อนที่แบบไฮโพไซคลอยด์จะมีลักษณะแตกต่างขึ้นอยู่กับทิศทางในการเคลื่อนที่ และระดับความเร็วที่เคลื่อนที่ ส่วนลักษณะของเส้นโค้งที่เกิดจากสมการเบื้องต้นของพิกัดจุดของไฮโพไซคลอยด์ ซึ่งหากวงกลมเล็กมีรัศมีเป็นจำนวนเต็มจะมีลักษณะของเส้นโค้งที่มีความซับซ้อนไม่มาก แต่หากวงกลมเล็กมีรัศมีเป็นจำนวนตรรกยะหรือจำนวนอตรรกยะจะทำให้มีลักษณะของเส้นโค้งที่มีความซับซ้อนมากกว่ารัศมีที่เป็นจำนวนเต็ม
