จากการสารวจปัญหาการเรียนการสอนไวยากรณ์ภาษาอังกฤษโดยเฉพาะเรื่องประโยคเงื่อนไขที่ผู้วิจัยทำการสำรวจในภาคเรียนที่1 ปีการศึกษา 2559 กับนิสิตเอกการสอนภาษาอังกฤษ คณะครุศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย วิทยาเขตอุบลราชธานีทำ ให้ทราบว่าปัญหาหลักๆ มีอยู่ 3 ประการ ประการที่ 1 ผู้เรียนจดจำ รูปประโยคของแต่ละเงื่อนไขไม่ได้ ประการที่ 2 ผู้เรียนไม่
สามารถแยกแยะสถานการณ์ที่ใช้ในแต่ละเงื่อนไขได้ถูกต้อง ประการที่ 3 ผู้เรียนไม่สามารถบอกความแตกต่างของแต่ละเงื่อนไขได้
