ทีมวอลเลย์บอลหญิงทีมชาติไทย เป็นทีมวอลเลย์บอลหญิงของประเทศไทยได้มีการพัฒนาฝีมือการเล่น จนสามารถเข้าร่วมการแข่งขันชิงแชมป์โลกได้เป็นครั้งแรกในประวัติศาสตร์ในปี ค.ศ. 1998 และ ค.ศ. 2002 ล่าสุดในปี ค.ศ. 2010 ก็สามารถเข้ารอบสุดท้ายได้ และได้สิทธิ์เข้าร่วมการแข่งขันเวิลด์กรังปรีย์ในส่วนโคว์ต้าทวีปเอเชีย ได้ตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. 2002 เป็นต้นมาถึง ค.ศ. 2010 ยกเว้นปี ค.ศ. 2007 (ถอนทีมไปแข่งกีฬามหาวิทยาลัยโลกที่ไทยเป็นเจ้าภาพ)

ทีมวอลเลย์บอลหญิงของไทยได้พัฒนาการเล่นมาตลอดได้อันดับ 3 การแข่งขันชิงชนะเลิศแห่งเอเชีย 2 ครั้งและสร้างประวัติศาสตร์เมื่อสามารถเอาชนะทีมจีน 3-1 เซตเป็นแชมป์ทวีปเอเชียเป็นครั้งแรกในการแข่งขันชิงชนะเลิศแห่งเอเชียในปี ค.ศ. 2009 ที่สนามกวนเงือ ประเทศเวียดนาม ทำให้ได้โควตาทวีปเอเชียไปแข่งเวิลด์แกรนแชมป์เปี้ยนคัพในปี ค.ศ. 2009
