โครงงานฉบับนี้เป็นการออกแบบเครื่องจ่ายแรงดันไฟฟ้ากระแสตรง(DC Power supply) ซึ่งเป็นอุปกรณ์ที่ทำหน้าที่จ่ายกระแสและแรงดันไฟฟ้าให้เข้ากับอุปกรณ์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ประเภทต่างๆให้ทำงานได้ โดยเครื่องจ่ายไฟฟ้ากระแสตรงนี้มีการทำงานแบบเชิงเส้น ประกอบด้วยวงจรหลักสามส่วนคือ วงจรเรียงกระแส วงจรกรองกระแส และวงจรปรับค่าแรงดันให้คงที่ ซึ่งทำหน้าที่เปลี่ยนแรงดันไฟฟ้ากระแสสลับขนาด 220 V ให้เป็นค่าแรงดันที่ระบบต้องการโดยสามารถจ่ายกระแสไฟฟ้าได้สูงสุดคือ 1A ซึ่งมีการกำหนดมาตรฐานเครื่องจ่ายไฟ 2 ทางออกดังนี้
ทางออกที่ 1 สามารถปรับแรงดันได้ตั้งแต่ 1.2-20V และแรงดันคงที่ให้เลือก 3.3V,5.0V และ 12V
ทางออกที่ 2 แรงดันปรับค่าได้ตั้งแต่ 1.2-2.0V
