สถาบันการจัดการปัญญาภิวัฒน์ได้เห็นถึงความสำคัญในการสร้างคนรุ่นใหม่ เข้าสู่ภาคธุรกิจเกษตร เพื่อเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการสร้างความมั่นคง และยั่งยืนด้านอาหาร จึงได้จัดตั้งคณะอุตสาหรรมเกษตร ขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 10 มิถุนายน 2557 โดยได้รับความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษาจาก บริษัท เจริญโภคภัณฑ์อาหาร จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือซีพีเอฟ
