วัดบรมราชากาญจนาภิเษกอนุสรณ์ฯก่อสร้างตามแบบสถาปัตยกรรมในยุคหมิง-ชิง โดยจำลองมาจากพระราชวังต้องห้ามในกรุงปักกิ่ง มีความสง่างามและมีรายละเอียดการตกแต่งที่ประณีตยิ่ง โดยทางวัดได้เชิญช่างฝีมือชั้นครูจากประเทศจีนมาดำเนินการก่อสร้างโดยตรง วิหารแต่ละหลังประดับด้วยลวดลายภาพเขียนสีพุทธศิลป์แบบจีนใช้สีน้ำเงิน แดงและทองเป็นหลัก ตามผนังและเพดานมีคาถา โอม มา นี ปะ หมี่ ฮง เป็นตัวอักษรสีทอง ที่เชื่อว่าขับไล่สิ่งชั่วร้ายต่าง ๆ ได้ หลังคาวิหารมุงด้วยกระเบื้องเผาแบบจีน สีเหลืองเข้ม ที่ตรงมุมหลังคาทั้ง 4 มุมประดับด้วยรูปสัตว์มงคล ได้แก่ เทวดาขี่หงส์ มังกร สิงโต ม้าน้ำ ม้าเทวดา แพะเทวดาเขาเดียว กระทิงเทวดา ปลาเทวดาและนกเค้าแมว นอกจากนี้ รายรอบพระวิหารยังประดับด้วยหินแกะสลักต่าง ๆ มากมายซึ่งล้วนนำมาจากสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน จึงเป็นสถานที่อีกแห่งหนึ่งซึ่งเหมาะอย่างยิ่งแก่การศึกษาพุทธศิลป์ของจีน

ภายในวัดประกอบด้วยอาคารหลัก ได้แก่
