เราทุกคนต่างก็มีโลกส่วนตัวด้วยกันทั้งนั้น สิ่งนี้อาจแตกต่างกันไปในแต่ละบุคคล หรืออาจจะคล้ายคลึงกันบ้างในผู้ที่มีความสนใจในสิ่งเดียวกัน เราต่างก็ยอมรับว่าโลกส่วนตัวของตนเองมีเอกลักษณ์ไม่เหมือนผู้อื่น ซึ่งเป็นเรื่องจริง เพราะไม่มีใครที่จะมีความคิดเหมือนกันร้อยเปอร์เซ็นต์ โลกส่วนตัวจึงเป็นสิ่งที่มีในมนุษย์ทุกคน ตราบใดที่เรายังมีความคิดและจินตนาการ

เมื่อไม่นานมานี้ ข้าพเจ้าได้ค้นพบโลกส่วนตัวใบใหม่ เป็นโลกที่ซับซ้อนและใหญ่กว่าใบอื่นๆที่ข้าพเจ้าเคยมี และเหมือนจะมีผลต่อความคิดจิตใจของข้าพเจ้าอย่างรวดเร็ว โลกส่วนตัวชนิดนี้ชื่อว่า “การสำนึกรู้คุณ” ซึ่งข้าพเจ้าได้เรียนรู้จากพระพุทธศาสนา สิ่งนี้ทำให้ข้าพเจ้ามองโลกแห่งความเป็นจริงในแง่ดีมากขึ้น และข้าพเจ้ามั่นใจอย่างยิ่งว่ามันจะอยู่กับข้าพเจ้าไปตลอดชีวิต เมื่ออยู่ในโลกส่วนตัวใบนี้แล้วรู้สึกมีความสุข และระลึกได้ว่าข้าพเจ้าโชคดีเพียงใดที่ได้มีชีวิตอยู่มาจนถึงทุกวันนี้ ข้าพเจ้ามองเห็นความสวยงามของโลกแห่งความเป็นจริงที่ข้าพเจ้าอาศัยอยู่อย่างมาก และยังตระหนักได้ถึงคุณค่าของตนเอง โลกส่วนตัวใบนี้ให้อะไรกับข้าพเจ้ามากมาย และข้าพเจ้าคาดหวังที่จะให้ผู้อื่นได้รู้สึกถึงมันเช่นกัน นี่เป็นโลกส่วนตัวอีกด้านหนึ่งของข้าพเจ้า ดังที่กล่าวมาแล้วว่าข้าพเจ้านั้นมีโลกส่วนตัวหลายใบ
