บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสาเหตุการอ่านหนังสือไม่ออกของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 โรงเรียนวัดราชโอรส กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 โรงเรียนวัดราชโอรส จำนวน 52 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 10 เป็นนักเรียนชายจำนวน 30 คน เป็นนักเรียนหญิงจำนวน 22 คน ซึ่งได้มาจากการสุ่มอย่างง่าย เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ เป็นแบบสอบถามความคิดเห็นแบ่งออกเป็น 3 ตอน ดังนี้
ตอนที่ 1 เป็นแบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับสถานภาพของผู้ตอบแบบสอบถาม ได้แก่ เพศและระดับชั้น
ตอนที่ 2 เป็นแบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับสาเหตุการอ่านหนังสือภาษาอังกฤษไม่ออกไม่ออก
ตอนที่ 3 เป็นข้อเสนอแนะแบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับสาเหตุการอ่านหนังสือภาษาอังกฤษไม่ออก
ของชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 โรงเรียนวัดราชโอรส
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า
จากผู้ที่ตอบแบบสอบถามชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศชาย จำนวน 30คน คิดเป็นร้อย-ละ58 รองลงมาเป็นเพศหญิงจำนวน 22 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 42
ผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามส่วนใหญ่ให้ความสำคัญเกี่ยวกับการอ่านหนังสือภาษาอังกฤษไม่ออก รายการที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยมากที่สุดสามารถเรียงลำดับได้ดังนี้ คิดว่าภาษาอังกฤษไม่จำเป็นต่อการใช้สื่อสาร อยู่-ในระดับมาก ( = 4.17) , ไม่ค่อยได้อ่านหนังสือที่มีภาษาอังกฤษอยู่ในระดับมาก ( = 4.15) และ การจำคำศัพท์ใหม่ๆเป็นสิ่งที่ยากอยู่ในระดับมาก ( = 4.08) ส่วนรายการที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยน้อยที่สุดสามารถเรียงลำดับได้ดังนี้ ไม่ค้นคว้าหาความรู้เพิ่มเติมอยู่ในระดับมาก ( = 3.85) , รู้สึกว่าการอ่านหนังสือภาษาอังกฤษไม่สำคัญอยู่ในระดับมาก ( = 3.90) และ ไม่ชอบภาษาอังกฤษอยู่ในระดับมาก ( = 3.90)
