แบบจำลองที่ 3 อัตราดอกเบี้ยและอัตราแลกเปลี่ยนมีความสัมพันธ์กับการลงทุนทางตรงจากประเทศญี่ปุ่นมายังประเทศเวียดนามในทิศทางเดียวกัน แต่อัตราดอกเบี้ยมีความสัมพันธ์กันในทิศตรงข้ามส่วนตัวแปรอัตราค่าแรงขั้นต่ำไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กัน
