การศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อแก้ปัญหาทักษะการใช้เมาส์ของนักเรียน – นักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1 โรงเรียนเทศบาล 4 (อุดมวิทย์สมใจ) อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดปราจีนบุรี จากผลสำรวจพบว่านักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1จำนวน 28 คน มีปัญหาเรื่องการใช้เมาส์ได้ไม่คล่อง ควบคุมเมาส์ไม่ค่อยได้ จึงทำให้มีผลกระทบในการปฏิบัติงานเกี่ยวกับวิชาคอมพิวเตอร์ เพราะการใช้เมาส์เป็นสิ่งจำเป็นในการเรียนรู้วิชาคอมพิวเตอร์เป็นอย่างมาก
ผลจากการวิจัยปรากฏว่า นักเรียนมีความพยายามและสามารถควบคุมเมาส์ได้ดีขึ้น และมีความมั่นใจในการปฏิบัติงานวิชาคอมพิวเตอร์มากขึ้น มีการพัฒนาการใช้เมาส์ที่ดีขึ้นซึ่งวัดได้จากเกณฑ์การทำคะแนนโดยใช้เกมคอมพิวเตอร์ฝึกการใช้เมาส์
