วิชาภาษาอังกฤษ ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ไปทำการทดลองกับนักเรียนกลุ่มตัวอย่าง จำนวน 35 คน
ในภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2550 แล้วทดสอบเก็บคะแนนจากแบบฝึกหัดท้ายบทเรียนที่ละหน่วย
จำนวน 3 หน่วยการเรียน ดังแสดงในตาราง (ค่า E1) ส่วนแบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน
ผู้ศึกษาค้นคว้าได้ดำเนินการสอบหลังจากสิ้นสุดการเรียนทั้งหมดจำนวน 30 ข้อ (ค่า E2) จากนั้น
คำนวณหาค่าดัชนีประสิทธิผลโดยใช้แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน แล้วนำมาหาค่าเฉลี่ย
