During our recent stay in Thailand

During our recent stay in Thailand we were lucky enough to visit some of their stunning islands. Thailand is blessed with islands full of beautiful white sand beaches and crystal clear water. As beach lovers this makes it paradise! It would be easy just to sit down at the beach all day, every day and never accomplish much at all. Hmm maybe not a bad idea!
During our stay there we visited Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Phi Phi Island. All three islands are incredible in their own right and offer something different for all visitors.
Phi Phi Island is the most beautiful of the three, and as a result is a very popular tourist destination. You will have to share the beach with plenty of other visitors, but this doesn’t take away from it’s spectacular nature. While cruising around the coast you will find yourself with mouth wide open in awe of some of the coastline. The beaches are beautiful and the water a stunning aqua color.
If you are looking for something a bit quieter then Koh Phangan might be the answer. While there are some busier areas on the west coast, you can easily find beaches on the island that are isolated from the rest of the world. Some you will often find yourself alone. Alone… on a beautiful beach… on a tropical island… paradise!
Koh Samui is the largest of the three islands and as a result the most developed. Other than beaches there is plenty of shopping and restaurants to enjoy. That doesn’t mean you can’t get away from it all. Being larger in size also means there is more to experience on this island, with numerous waterfalls and events to be found.
