วัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาระดับความฉลา

วัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาระดับความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ของนักศึกษาแพทย์ชั้นปีที่ 1 คณ แพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ในแต่ละมิติ และศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างระดับความฉลาดทางอารมณ์และความเครียดของนักศึกษาแพทย์กลุ่มดังกล่าว
วิธีการศึกษา ทำการสำรวจความฉลาดทางอารมณ์และความเครียดของนักศึกษาแพทย์ปีที่ 1 คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ปีการศึกษา 2543 จำนวน 179 โดยการใช้แบบประเมินความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ และแบบประเมินและวิเคราะห์ความเครียดด้วยตนเอง นำข้อมูลที่ได้มาวิเคราะห์หาระดับความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ และระดับความเครียดโดยใช้ค่าเฉลี่ยเลขคณิต ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และวิเคราะห์หาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างระดับความฉลาดทางอารมณ์และความเครียด
ผลการศึกษา นักศึกษาแพทย์ชั้นปีที่ 1 ส่วนใหญ่มีระดับความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ในระดับสูง (3.76) และมีความเครียดอยู่ในเกณฑ์ปกติ (6-17 คะแนน) จากการวิเคราะห์หาความสัมพันธ์พบว่าระดับความเครียดมีความสัมพันธ์ทางลบกับระดับความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ในทุกมิติอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.01 โดยรวมมีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์ความสัมพันธ์เท่ากับ 0.352 พบว่ามิติการตระหนักรู้ตนเอง การควบคุมตนเอง ทักษะทางสังคม และการเข้าใจความรู้สึกผู้อื่นนั้น มีความสัมพันธ์ทางลบกับระดับความเครียดอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.01 โดยมีค่าสัมประสิทธ์ความสัมพันธ์เท่ากับ 0.367, 0.385, 0.353 และ 0.204 ตามลำดับ ส่วนมิติของการสร้างแรงจูงใจให้ตนเองมีความสัมพันธ์ทางลบกับระดับความเครียดอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ P=0.05 โดยมีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์ความสัมพันธ์เท่ากับ 0.164
สรุป นักศึกษาแพทย์ชั้นปีที่ 1 ส่วนใหญ่มีระดับความเครียดอยู่ในเกณฑ์ปกติ และมีค่าเฉลี่ยของความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ในแต่ละมิติอยู่ในระดับสูง และระดับความเครียดมีความสัมพันธ์ทางลบกับระดับความฉลาดทางอารมณ์น่าจะช่วยในการปรับตัวและช่วยลดความเครียดของนักศึกษาและมีส่วนช่วยให้เกิดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางด้านการเรียนและการปรับตัวของนักศึกษาแพทย์ต่อไป
