เกณฑ์การคัดเลือกบุคคลที่มีความบกพร่องทางการเห็นมีดังนี้
1. เป็นผู้ที่มีความบกพร่องทางการเห็นไม่น้อยกว่า 10 ปี
2. เป็นผู้ที่มีประสบการณ์ในการเข้าใช้แหล่งเรียนรู้ทางวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
3. เป็นผู้ที่เข้าชมแหล่งเรียนรู้ทางวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีอย่างน้อย 3 แห่ง จาก 5 แห่ง ดังรายชื่อต่อไปนี้ พิพิธภัณฑ์วิทยาศาสตร์ พิพิธภัณฑ์ธรรมชาติวิทยา พิพิธภัณฑ์เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ จัตุรัสวิทยาศาสตร์ อพวช. จามจุรีสแควร์ และศูนย์วิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อการศึกษาแห่งชาติ
