จากการศึกษา เรื่อง ทัศนคติความเชื่องเรื่องโชคลางที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการดำเนินชีวิตประจำวัน เราได้ทำการศึกษามาตั้งแต่ต้นเหตุ ความหมาย ความต้องการและการมีที่พึ่งในจิตใจของมนุษย์เราคำว่า “ความเชื่อ” มีความหมายอยู่หลายความหมาย นักวิชาการและผู้รู้ได้ให้ความหมายของความเชื่อไว้ในแง่มุมต่างๆ ดังนี้
