เพราะว่าประเทศไทยเป็นประเทศที่กำลังพัฒนา และ ผมคิดว่านาโนเทคโนโลยีถือเป็นก้าวสำคัญที่สุดของวิทยาศาตร์ในขณะนี้และเป็นส่วนที่สำคัญอย่างยิ่งในการพัฒนาประเทศ ในความเป็นจริงแล้วสิ่งต่างๆในชีวิตประจำวันของเรา มักจะมีองค์ประกอบต่างๆซึ่งก็เริ่มต้นจากสิ่งเล็กๆ และหากเราควบคุมสิ่งเล็กๆนี้และใช้งานมันให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุดได้ มันจะเป็นก้าวสำคัญที่สุดในการพัฒนาไม่ใช่เพียงแค่คนไทยแต่เป็นทั้งเผ่าพันธุ์มนุษย์

ถึงแม้ว่าประเทศไทยเล็งเห็นความสำคัญของนาโนเทคโนโลยี จึงได้มีการจัดตั้งศูนย์วิจัยอยู่แล้ว แต่ผมยังคิดว่ามันยังไม่เพียงพอสำหรับการแข่งขันกับทั่วโลก เรายังมีศักยภาพด้านนี้ไม่เพียงพอ และผมเชื่อมั่นว่าหากผมได้เรียนและทำวิจัยด้านนี้แล้ว ผมจะมีความเชี่ยวชาญและความรู้ความสามารถในระดับสูง ผมจะเป็นคนนึงที่มีส่วนช่วยในการพัฒนาประเทศไทยไม่มากก็น้อย
