เป็นอนุสาวรีย์ที่ระลึกให้ชาวลาวผู้เสียชีวิต ของสงครามในใจกลางของลาว ในการต่อสู้เพื่อการเป็นอิสรภาพจากฝรั่งเศสและสงครามต่างๆ   ถูกสร้างขึ้นระหว่างปี  1957 – 1968
