การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาความสามารถด้านการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษาสาขาวิชาการจัดการ และสาขาวิชาการบัญชี ภาคปกติ ชั้นปีที่ 4 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏยะลา และเปรียบเทียบความสามารถด้านการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษาสาขาวิชาการจัดการ และสาขาวิชาการบัญชี ภาคปกติ ชั้นปีที่ 4 จากคณะวิทยาการจัดการ ที่กำลังศึกษาในภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2558 ของมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏยะลา โดยดำเนินการทดสอบเป็นระยะเวลา 2 วัน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ คือ แบบทดสอบจำนวน 1 ชุด สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ร้อยละค่าเฉลี่ย ( ) ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D.) และการทดสอบค่าที (t-test)
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ความสามารถด้านการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษาสาขาวิชาการจัดการ ชั้นปีที่ 4 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏยะลา มีค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนน เท่ากับ 11.10 และมีค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานเท่ากับ 2.95 ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ระดับความสามารถด้านการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษาสาขาวิชาการบัญชี ภาคปกติ ชั้นปีที่ 4 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏยะลา เท่ากับ 9.71 มีค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานเท่ากับ 3.32 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
