การศึกษาค้นคว้าครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจของผู้ปกครองต่อการบริหารจัดการศึกษาของศูนย์การศึกษาพิเศษประจำจังหวัดชุมพร สังกัดสำนักงานบริหารงานการศึกษาพิเศษ
ประชากรที่ใช้ในการศึกษาค้นคว้า ได้แก่ผู้ปกครอง ชาวบ้านในเขตพื้นที่จังหวัดชุมพร ผู้ ผู้ปกครองที่มีบุตรหลานกำลังเรียนอยู่ที่ศูนย์การศึกษาพิเศษประจำจังหวัดชุมพร สังกัดสำนักงานบริหารงานการศึกษาพิเศษ ปีการศึกษา 2557 จำนวน 180 ราย สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละของคะแนน ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการศึกษาพบว่า

2. ผู้ปกครองนักเรียนศูนย์การศึกษาพิเศษประจำจังหวัดชุมพรมีความคาดหวังต่อการบริหารจัดการศึกษาของศูนย์การศึกษาพิเศษประจำจังหวัดชุมพร สังกัดสำนักงานบริหารงานการศึกษาพิเศษโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก มีค่าเฉลี่ยเรียงลำดับ คือ ด้านบุคลากร ด้านการนำเสนอลักษณะทางกายภาพ ด้านการจัดการศึกษา ด้านการส่งเสริมการศึกษา ด้านบริการด้านกระบวนการให้บริการ และด้านสถานที่และการบริการ เมื่อพิจารณาในปัจจัยย่อยจะพบว่า ผู้ปกครองของนักเรียนศูนย์การศึกษาพิเศษประจำจังหวัดชุมพร มีระดับความพึงพอใจ(ผลที่ได้รับ)น้อยกว่าระดับความคาดหวัง โดยผู้ปกครองของนักเรียนศูนย์การศึกษาพิเศษประจำจังหวัดชุมพรมี ความคาดหวังในระดับมาก แต่ผลที่ได้รับในระดับปานกลาง ได้แก่ สถานที่จอดรถสะดวกและเพียงพอ
3. ปัจจัยที่ผู้ปกครองของนักเรียนศูนย์การศึกษาพิเศษประจำจังหวัดชุมพรมีความพึงพอใจ โดยมีระดับของผลที่ได้รับอยู่ในระดับเดียวกับความคาดหวัง และมีค่าเฉลี่ยเรียงลำดับ คือ ปัจจัยด้านบุคลากร ปัจจัยด้านการจัดการศึกษา ปัจจัยด้านการนำเสนอลักษณะทางกายภาพ ปัจจัยด้านกระบวนการให้บริการ ปัจจัยด้านบริการ และปัจจัยด้านสถานที่และการบริการ ส่วนปัจจัยที่ผู้ปกครองมีความพึงพอใจน้อย ส่วนปัจจัยที่ผู้ปกครองของนักเรียนศูนย์การศึกษาพิเศษประจำจังหวัดชุมพรมีความพึงพอใจโดยรวมน้อยกว่าระดับความคาดหวัง มีระดับของผลที่ได้รับอยู่ในระดับปานกลางซึ่งต่ำกว่าระดับความคาดหวัง คือ ด้านการส่งเสริมการศึกษา
