1. ผู้วิจัยทดสอบความเข้าใจในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ และแรงจูงใจในการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษก่อนการเรียนโดยใช้กิจกรรมต่อชิ้นส่วน
2. ปฐมนิเทศนักศึกษาเกี่ยวกับการเรียนการสอนโดยใช้กิจกรรมต่อชิ้นส่วน
3. ดำเนินการเรียนการสอนตามโดยใช้กิจกรรมต่อชิ้นส่วน โดยนักศึกษาแต่ละกลุ่มปฏิบัติ ตามขั้นตอนที่ได้เรียนรู้จากการปฐมนิเทศในตอนแรก
4. มีการทดสอบความเข้าใจในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ และวัดแรงจูงใจในการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ รวมทั้งสิ้น 5 ครั้ง หลังการเรียนโดยใช้กิจกรรมต่อชิ้นส่วน โดยใช้แบบทดสอบชุดเดิม
