15. เป็นนายกก่อตั้งสมาคมเทนนิสสูงอายุประเทศไทย
ในระหว่างจัดการแข่งขันเทนนิสสูงอายุนานาชาตินั้น คุณเกอร์ดอน มาร์ติช
คุณชาญ อิสสระ และข้าพเจ้า หารือกันว่าน่าจะจัดตั้งสมาคมเทนนิสสูงอายุแห่ง
ประเทศทไทยให้ถูกต้องตามกฤหมาย จะได้เป็นองค์กรที่สามารถจัดการแข่งขันได้
ข้าพเจ้าจึงจัดให้มีการประชุมขึ้นระหว่างการแข่งขัน โดยมีผู้แทนนักเทนนิสสูงอายุ
ต่างจังหวัดที่มาร่วมแข่งขันเข้าประชุมด้วย ที่ประชุมได้เห็นชอบตามที่เสนอและ
เลือกตั้งข้าพเจ้าเป็นนายกสมาคม คุณชาญ อิสสระ เป็นอุปนายก และคุณศุภชัย เป็น
เลขาธิการ คุญขลาธิป เป็นเหรัญญิก สมาคมได้ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 8 มิถุนายน พ.ศ. 2533
มีการจัดการแข่งขันเทนนิสสูงอายุภายในประเทศครั้งแรกเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2534 และต่อมารได้จัดการ
แข่งขันเป็นประจำทุกปี หมุนเวียนไปยังจังหวัดต่างๆ เพื่อส่งเสริมกีฬาเทนนิสอีกทางหนึ่ง
สมาคมกีฬาเทนนิสสูงอายุดำเนินการต่อมาจนกระทั่งทุกวันนี้ และมีความก้าวหน้ายิ่งขึ้น อันเป็น
ไปตามจุดมุ่งหมายของสมาคม ซึ่งข้าพเจ้าเพิ่งได้รับบัตรสมาชิก หมายเลข 374 ประเภทสมาชิก
วิสามัญตลอดชีพเมื่อ 22 พฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2548 และเห็นว่าทางสมาคม มีกำหนดการแข่งขันตลอดปี
ทั้งในกรุงเทพ และต่างจังหวัด จึงขอแสดงความชื่นชมไว้ ณ ที่นี้
