ได้ทำการศึกษาการหาแหล่งคาร์บอนที่เหมาะสมต่อการเจริญของ Bacillus aryabhattai ทั้งหมด 4 แหล่ง ได้แก่ กากน้ำตาล กลูโคส น้ำมะพร้าว และกลีเซอรอล พบว่า แบคทีเรียที่ใช้Glycerol เป็นแหล่งคาร์บอนนั้น มีการเจริญได้ดีกว่าแหล่งคาร์บอนอื่นๆ
