1.3 การเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง ( Purposive sampling ) เป็นการเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยพิจารณาจากการตัดสินใจของผู้วิจัยเอง ลักษณะของกลุ่มที่เลือกเป็นไปตามวัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย การเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจงต้องอาศัยความรอบรู้ ความชำนาญและประสบการณ์ในเรื่องนั้นๆของผู้ทำวิจัย การเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบนี้มีชื่อเรียกอีกอย่างว่า Judgement sampling
