ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ผู้วิจัยได้วิเคราะห์ปัญหาและความต้องการในการใช้แหล่งเรียนรู้ทางวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีของบุคคลที่มีความบกพร่องทางการเห็น ผ่านแบบสอบถาม“ปัญหาและความต้องการในการใช้แหล่งเรียนรู้ทางวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีของบุคคลที่มีความบกพร่องทางการเห็น”ซึ่งเป็นแบบสอบถามปลายเปิดแบบมีโครงสร้าง ที่ครอบคลุม 4 ด้าน คือ 1) โครงสร้างทางกายภาพ 2) สื่อการเรียนรู้ (นิทรรศการ) 3) กิจกรรม 4) บุคลากร โดยสอบถามบุคคลที่มีความบกพร่องทางการเห็นที่มีประสบการณ์ในการเข้าเยี่ยมชมหรือใช้บริการจากแหล่งเรียนรู้พิพิธภัณฑ์วิทยาศาสตร์ 5 แห่ง ได้แก่ พิพิธภัณฑ์วิทยาศาสตร์ พิพิธภัณฑ์ธรรมชาติวิทยา พิพิธภัณฑ์เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ จัตุรัสวิทยาศาสตร์ อพวช. จามจุรีสแควร์ และศูนย์วิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อการศึกษาแห่งชาติ
