ทอมได้ประเมินประสิทธิภาพท่าอากาศยานไทยจำนวน 6 แห่ง ที่ดำเนินการโดย บริษัท ท่าอากาศยานไทย ระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2549 – 2550 โดยใช้วิธีการ DEA จาก 2 ตัวแบบ คือ ตัวแบบ CCR และ BCC รวมถึงการประเมิน Scale Efficiency พบว่าผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1)ในปี พ.ศ. 2549 มีท่าอากาศยาน 3 แห่ง ที่มีประสิทธิภาพ เมื่อประเมินด้วยตัวแบบ CCR และตัวแบบ BCC 2) ในปี พ.ศ. 2550 มีท่าอากาศยาน 4 แห่ง ที่มีประสิทธิภาพ เมื่อประเมินด้วยตัวแบบ CCR และตัวแบบ BCC
