๑. หลักสูตรวิชาชีพหลัก ได้แก่ หลักสูตรระยะยาว ๑ ปี เป็นหลักสูตรหลักของโรงเรียนพระดาบส เมื่อจบแล้วได้รับพระราชทานประกาศนียบัตรพระดาบส มีสิทธิ์ในการทดสอบมาตรฐานฝีมือแรงงานขั้นที่ ๑ กรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน รายวิชาบางวิชาสามารถเทียบโอนเครดิตกับหลักสูตร ปวช . กศน . ได้เปิดการสอนใน 7 หลักสูตร วิชาชีพ

การจัดหลักสูตรแบ่งผังกำหนดระยะเวลา ดังนี้ ๓ เดือน เตรียมช่าง ๖ เดือนวิชาเฉพาะสาขา ๓ เดือน ฝึกปฏิบัติใน สถานประกอบการ
๒.หลักสูตรวิชาชีพระยะสั้น ได้แก่ หลักสูตรเฉพาะเรื่อง ที่มุ่งเน้นให้สามารถนำไปประกอบอาชีพได้โดยตรง มีระยะเวลาการเรียนอย่างน้อย ๑๐๐ ชั่วโมง เมื่อจบแล้วได้รับประกาศนียบัตรและมีสิทธิ์ในการทดสอบมาตรฐานฝีมือแรงงานขั้นที่ ๑ กรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน เช่น หลักสูตรการนวดไทยเพื่อสุขภาพ จำนวน ๑๕๐ ชั่วโมง ซึ่งเป็นหลักสูตรร่วมของโรงเรียนพระดาบส และกรมพัฒนาการแพทย์แผนไทยและการแพทย์ทางเลือก กระทรวงสาธารณสุข

นับตั้งแต่ปี พ . ศ . ๒๕๔๐ ประเทศไทยได้ประสบปัญหาวิกฤติด้านเศรษฐกิจ พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ได้ทรงมีกระแสพระราชดำริ เกี่ยวกับการแก้ไขวิกฤตเศรษฐกิจของประเทศในรูปแบบต่างๆ พระราชดำริดังกล่าวมีส่วนหนึ่งที่เกี่ยวข้องกับโครงการพระดาบสโดยทรงมีพระราชดำริผ่านทาง พล . ต . ต . สุชาติ เผือกสกนธ์ เลขาธิการมูลนิธิพระดาบส เมื่อวันที่ ๕ ธันวาคม ๒๕๔๔ เป็นการส่วนพระองค์ว่า ? ให้มุ่งหน้าไปด้านเกษตรกรรมอย่างจริงจัง ? โดยมีพระราชประสงค์ให้นักเรียนของโรงเรียนพระดาบสมีความรู้ในวิชาชีพเกษตรกรรมอีกแขนงหนึ่งเพื่อจะได้นำความรู้ทางด้านการเกษตรไปใช้ประโยชน์ในการประกอบอาชีพเลี้ยงตนเอง ครอบครัวและช่วยเหลือสังคมในชนบทได้ ต่อมามูลนิธิพระดาบสได้สนองแนวกระแสพระราชดำริดังกล่าว โดยได้จัดตั้งหลักสูตรทางด้านการเกษตรขึ้น โดยนายแก้วขวัญ วัชโรทัย เลขาธิการพระราชวัง ได้มอบให้ทางมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์เป็นผู้ออกแบบโครงสร้างหลักสูตรขึ้นใช้ชื่อหลักสูตรว่า ? หลักสูตรพืชอาหารสัตว์และการเลี้ยงโคนม ? และได้มอบหมายให้ นายเอกสิทธิ์ วัฒนปรีชานนท์ ผู้อำนวยการกองบำรุงรักษาราชอุทยาน เป็นประธานคณะทำงานจัดตั้งหลักสูตรเกษตรมี ว่าที่ ร . ต . สมานมิตร พัฒนา เป็นเลขานุการคณะทำงานฯ โดยได้ใช้ห้องประชุมชั้น ๒ อาคารออมสินเฉลิมพระเกียรติ สวนจิตรลดา เป็นสำนักงานและห้องเรียนชั่วคราว ซึ่งได้เปิดการเรียนการสอนครั้งแรกในปีการศึกษา ๒๕๔๔ มีนักเรียนรุ่นที่ ๑ จำนวน ๖ คน ใช้ระยะเวลาเรียนตลอดหลักสูตร ๑๐ เดือน ต่อมาในปีการศึกษา ๒๕๔๕ คณะทำงานโครงการจัดตั้งหลักสูตรการเกษตร ได้จัดประชุมคณะที่ปรึกษาฯและคณะทำงานเพื่อติดตามประเมินผลการดำเนินงานในวันที่ ๑๕ สิงหาคม ๒๕๔๕ ณ ห้องประชุมชั้น ๒ อาคารออมสินเฉลิมพระเกียรติ สวนจิตรลดา ที่ประชุมเห็นว่าสมควรเปลี่ยนชื่อหลักสูตร เพื่อให้ครอบคลุมการเกษตรในสาขาอื่นๆ ด้วย จึงใช้ชื่อ ใหม่ว่า ? การเกษตรพอเพียง ? โดยมีรองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พัฒนา สุขประเสริฐ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ เป็นที่ปรึกษาและมีการปรับปรุงหลักสูตรอย่างต่อเนื่องมาโดยตลอดเพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับความพร้อมและความต้องการของผู้เรียน โดยใช้ระยะเวลาในการเรียนตลอดหลักสูตรเป็นเวลา ๑๕ เดือน ต่อมาในปีการศึกษา ๒๕๔๖ ฯพณฯ ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ น . พ . เกษม วัฒนชัย องคมนตรี ในฐานะเลขาธิการมูลนิธิพระดาบสคนใหม่ได้ปรับระยะเวลาการเรียนของทุกหลักสูตร วิชาชีพหลักคงเหลือ ๑ ปี และในปีการศึกษา ๒๕๔๗ หลักสูตรการเกษตรพอเพียง ได้ย้ายไปเรียน ณ โรงเรียนพระดาบสจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ ภายในพื้นที่โครงการลูกพระดาบส ต . บางปลา อ . บางพลี จ . สมุทรปราการ ซึ่งมีพื้นที่กว้างขวางเหมาะสมกับการทำแปลงเกษตรให้นักเรียนโรงเรียนพระดาบสได้ฝึกปฏิบัติมากยิ่งขึ้น
