การศึกษาวิจัยเรื่อง การศึกษาโซ่อุปทานการปลูกส้มโอ กรณีศึกษาตำบลไทยาวาส อำเภอนครชัยศรี จังหวัดนครปฐม (1)ศึกษาวิธีการจัดการโซ่อุปทานส้มโอในตำบลไทยยาวาส อำเภอนครชัยศรี จังหวัดนครปฐม(2)วิเคราะห์ต้นทุนการผลิตขอเกษตรกรผู้ปลูกส้มโอใน ตำบลไทยวาส อำเภอเมืองนครชัยศรี จังหวัดนครปฐม เป็นเกษตรกรผู้ปลูกส้มโอใน ตำบลไทยยาวาส จำนวน17แห่ง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสัมภาษณ์ แบบมีโครงสร้างทำการวิเคราะห์ ข้อมูลสถิติที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ ค่าความถี่ ร้อยละ และสังเกต บุคคลที่ต้องศึกษาโดยละเอียดทุกด้านในลักษณะเจาะลึก
ผลการวิจัยพบว่าเกษตรกรผู้ปลูกส้มโอ ตำบลไทยยาวาสมีการจัดการโซ่อุปทานโดยมีการส่งมอบให้พ่อค้าคนกลางผ่านทางช่องทางการติดต่อโดยตรงกับคู่ค้า โดยกิจการสวนส้มโอ ได้มีการผลิตส้มโอป้อนเข้าสู่การตลาด จำนวนประมาน 88190 ลูกต่อปี ซึ่งมีการดำเนินงานในรูปแบบธุรกิจ ครัวเรือนขนาดเล็ก โดยทุกขั้นตอนในการดำเนินงาน ตั่งแต่กระบวน การผลิตจนถึงมือผู้บริโภคจะดำเนินการ ผ่านพ่อค้าคนกลางเพื่อลำเลียงผลผลิตไปยังผู้บริโภคเป็นส่วนใหญ่/และในส่วนของการจัดการด้านต้นทุน พบว่า(1)ต้นทุนค่าวัตถุดิบทางตรงมีค่าเฉลี่ยอยู่ที่ 11,901.20 บาท/ไร่/ปี (2)ต้นทุนค่าวัตถุดิบทางอ้อมมีค่าเฉลี่ยยู่ที่ 244.75 บาท/ไร่/ปี (3)ต้นทุนค่าแรงงานทางตรงอยู่ที่ 4,231.78 บาท/ไร่/ปี (4)ต้นทุนค่าแรงทางอ้อม 6,930 บาท/ไร่/ปี (5)ต้นทุนค่าใช้จ่ายในการผลิตอยู่ที่ 5,30.30 บาท/ไร่/ปี
จากการศึกษาพบว่า การจัดการโซ่อุปทานและการวิเคราะห์ต้นทุนการปลูกส้มโอ ในตำบลไทยยาวาส อำเภอนครชัยศรี จังหวัดนครปฐม มีการจัดการกระบวนการผลิต การออกแบบการดำเนินงานเพื่อให้ทุกขั้นตอน เพื่อให้ดำเนินงานราบรื่น และการจัดส่งสินค้าที่มีการทำข้อตกลงในการซื้อสินค้า และจากการศึกษายังพบว่าปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการดำเนินกิจการสวนส้มโอคือปริมานที่ยังออกไม่เต็มที่เพื่อจากส้มโออายุน้อยอยู่ในช่วงอายุ 4 ปีจึงไม่เพียงพอต่อผู้บริโภค และปัญหาที่เกิดจากภัยธรรมชาติที่ยากต่อการป้องกัน
