กรมพินิจและคุ้มครองเด็กและเยาวชนในฐานะเป็นองค์กรหลักในการดูแลเด็กและเยาวชนที่เข้าสู่กระบวนการยุติธรรม เล็งเห็นความจำเป็นในการร่วมกันพัฒนากระบวนการยุติธรรมเด็กและเยาวชนของประเทศในภูมิภาคอาเซียน โดยการจัดเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ระหว่างบุคลากรที่ปฏิบัติงานด้านเด็กและเยาวชนที่เข้าสู่กระบวนการยุติธรรมของประเทศในภูมิภาคอาเซียน ซึ่งจะนำไปสู่การกำหนดนโยบาย แนวปฏิบัติที่เหมาะสมและสอดคล้องกันระหว่างประเทศต่างๆในภูมิภาค อันจะเป็นการสร้างเครือข่ายและประสานความร่วมมือในการดูแลเด็กและเยาวชนระหว่างประเทศต่างๆในภูมิภาค ยกระดับและพัฒนามาตรฐานการปฏิบัติต่อเด็กและเยาวชนที่เข้าสู่กระบวนการยุติธรรมของภูมิภาคอาเซียนให้มีความสอดคล้องกับมาตรฐานสากล พร้อมทั้งผลักดันให้เกิดองค์กรด้านเด็กและเยาวชนในกระบวนการยุติธรรมแห่งภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ขึ้นในลำดับต่อไป
โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์หลัก 2 ประการ คือ
๑. เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้มีการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ประสบการณ์งานด้านกระบวนการยุติธรรมเด็กและเยาวชนของแต่ละประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียน โดยมีผู้แทนของแต่ละประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียนเข้าร่วมในการเสนอข้อมูลและแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น
๒. เพื่อสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือ เพื่อนำไปสู่การพัฒนาระบบการปฏิบัติต่อเด็กและเยาวชนในภูมิภาคอาเซียนให้มีความเป็นมาตรฐาน และเป็นที่ยอมรับในระดับสากล

ผลลัพธ์ (อังกฤษ) 1:

Department of child and youth protection and to examine as a primary organization for the care of children and young people that are into the justice system. We see the need to jointly develop child and youth justice processes of the countries in the ASEAN region. Which will contribute to defining policies? Appropriate practices and consistent between the various countries in the region to build their networks and coordinate cooperation in taking care of children and young people between the countries in the region. With a push, an organization of children and youth in the justice system of Southeast Asia in the next sequence
