โครงงานการสร้างการ์ตูนแอนิเมชั่นเรื่อง เวลาที่เสียไปกับโลกออนไลน์ จัดทำขึ้นเพื่อนำเทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์มาประยุกต์ใช้ในการสร้างสื่อการ์ตูนแอนิเมชั่นที่มีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับการให้แนวคิดในอีกมุมมองหนึ่งของการเทคโนโลยีที่มากเกินไปในยุคปัจจุบัน รวมถึงการให้แง่คิดเกี่ยวกับโอกาสที่อาจจะเสียไปหากยังคงก้มมองแต่หน้าจอมือถือ หรือเก็บตัวอยู่กับคอมพิวเตอร์
เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์และออกแบบระบบ คือ Story board, Use Case Diagram, User Case Description, Sequence Diagram, E-R Diagram การวาดรูปการ์ตูนใช้โปรแกรม Adobe Photoshop CS5, Adobe Illustrator CS5 การทำให้การ์ตูนเคลื่อนไหวใช้โปรแกรม Adobe Flash Professional CS6 การอัดเสียงใช้โปรแกรม Adobe Audition CS5 การตัดต่อภาพใช้โปรแกรม Corel Video Studio Pro X8 การพัฒนาเว็บไซต์ใช้โปรแกรม Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 ซึ่งใช้ภาษา PHP ในการเขียนคำสั่งควบคุมการทำงานของโปรแกรม และใช้โปรแกรม MySQL client version: 5.0.51 เป็นฐานข้อมูลที่ใช้ในการจัดเก็บข้อมูลต่างๆในระบบ
