แข่งเรือคนเป็นกีฬาพื้นเมืองของภาคกลาง พบว่ามีการเล่นแข่งเรือคนกันแล้วในสมัยรัชกาลที่ ๗ แห่งกรุงรัตนโกสินทร์ ก่อนปี พ.ศ. ๒๔๘๐ แข่งเรือคนมีการเล่นกันแพร่หลายแทบทุกจังหวัด เช่น จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา นครปฐม กาญจนบุรี สมุทรสงคราม ฉะเชิงเทรา และ สุพรรณบุรี บางแห่งมีการเล่นแบบเดียวกันแต่เรียกชื่อแตกต่างกันออกไป การเล่นแข่งเรือคนเป็นการเล่นเลียนแบบการแข่งเรือใช้น้ำโดยใช้คนนั่งต่อๆกันเป็นแถวตอน ๒ แถวขนาน แถวใดถึงเส้นชัยก่อนจะชนะการเล่นแข่งเรือคนเป็นการเล่นของคนหนุ่มสาวสมัยก่อน เล่นกันในเทศกาลงานรื่นเริง ปัจจุบันไม่ค่อยนิยมเล่นกันแล้ว
อุปกรณ์การเล่น

วิธีเล่น
