จากงานวิจัยได้ออกแบบโรงไฟฟ้าชีวิมวลต้นแบบขนาด 220 kW ดังแสดงในภาพที่ 7 โดยได้ทำการก่อสร้างไว้ที่จังหวัดปราจีนบุรี โรงไฟฟ้าดังกล่าวใช้วัสดุเหลือใช้ทางการเกษตรในพื้นที่เป็นเชื้อเพลิง อาทิเช่น ซังข้าวโพด เหง้ามันสำปะหลัง เปลือกไม้ยูคาลิปตัสและเศษไม้ โดยโรงไฟฟ้าดังกล่าวประกอบด้วยส่วนประกอบที่สำคัญดังนี้
1.ชุดรองรับและป้อนเชื้อเพลิงชีวมวล
2.เตาปฏิกรณ์ผลิตเชื้อเพลิงแบบแก๊สซิฟิเคชั่นแบบแก๊สเชื้อเพลิงไหลลง
