สืบเนื่องจากการที่ พื้นที่ในภาคกลางของประเทศ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งจังหวัดอ่างทองถูกน้ำท่วม เกือบทั้งจังหวัด ทำให้ประชาชนเกิดความยากลำบาก ไม่มีที่พักทำให้ต้องขึ้นมาอยู่บนถนน พื้นที่ทำมาหากินเสียหาย ไม่มีงานทำ พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าพระบรมราชินีนาถ และพระบรมวงศานุวงศ์ ทรงห่วงใยประชาชนดังกล่าว โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งสมเด็จพระบรมราชินีนาถได้พระราชทานกระแสรับสั่งให้สมุหราชองครักษ์ คือ พลเอกนฤพล บุญทับ และรองเลขานุการในพระองค์ นายสหัส บุญญาวิวัฒน์ พร้อมคณะ และคณะเจ้าหน้าที่ของหน่วยงานราชการต่างๆ จัดหาและดำเนินการ พื้นที่ทำฟาร์มตัวอย่างให้เกษตรกรได้พักอาศัยขณะน้ำท่วม มีอาหาร รายได้ และเป็นจุดเรียนรู้ขึ้น ที่ตำบลโพธิ์สระ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดอ่างทอง พื้นที่ 36 ไร่

วัตถุประสงค์
