เป็นงานบุญที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดของจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี จัดให้มีขึ้นทุกปีในวันอาสาฬหบูชา และวันเข้าพรรษา สถานที่จัดคือบริเวณทุ่งศรีเมืองและศาลาจตุรมุข มีการประกวดต้นเทียน 2 ประเภท คือประเภทติดพิมพ์ และประเภทแกะสลัก โดยขบวนแห่จากคุ้มวัดต่างๆ พร้อมนางฟ้าประจำต้นเทียนจะเคลื่อนขบวนจากหน้าวัดศรีอุบลรัตนารามไปตามถนนมาสิ้นสุดขบวนที่ทุ่งศรีเมือง ในตอนกลางคืนจะมีมหรสพและการแสดงสมโภชต้นเทียนและเห็นแสงไฟต้องลำเทียนงามอร่ามไปทั้งงาน
