วิจัยนี้จัดทำขึ้นเพื่อพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านคำในมาตราตัวสะกดต่างๆให้ถูกต้องโดยใช้สื่อการสอนมาตราแสนสนุกโดยกลุ่มเป้าหมาย คือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 2 โรงเรียนวัดพระมงกุฎ ตำบลนาเคียน อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช ซึ่งมีจำนวนนักเรียนทั้งหมด 8 คน การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ที่ใช้ทักษะการอ่าน โดยเครื่องมือที่ใช้เพื่อวัดผล คือ แบบประเมินการอ่านคำ
