วัดมิ่งเมือง(วัดช้างมูบ) เป็นวัดมงค

วัดมิ่งเมือง(วัดช้างมูบ) เป็นวัดมงคลนามของเมืองเชียงราย ได้สืบทอดประเพณีการจัดทอดจุลกฐินมาเป็นประจำทุกปี ซึ่งเป็นประเพณีที่สืบทอดมาแต่โบราณ ซึ่งในปี 2557 นี้จัดขึ้นเป็นปีที่ 8แล้ว ในความหมายของจุลกฐิน คือ ผ้าที่สำเร็จด้วยพลังแห่งความสามัคคี และบุญบารมีแห่งศรัทธาอันสูงสุดที่เริ่มต้นด้วยการ เก็บฝ้าย หีบฝ้าย ดีดฝ้าย ม้วนฝ้าย ปั่นฝ้าย เปียฝ้าย ทั้งต้ม ย้อม ตาก และกวักฝ้าย นำมาสาวเข้าฟืม ทอ ตัด เย็บย้อม จนสำเร็จเป็นผ้าไตรจีวรครบสำรับ โดยทุกขั้นตอนต้องทำให้แล้วเสร็จภายในวันเดียว คือ 24 ชั่วโมง ด้วยอำนาจบุญกุศลที่ได้ถวายผ้าจุลกฐินนั้นอย่างใหญ่หลวงนัก สำหรับผู้ถวายและผู้ร่วมอนุโมทนา จะได้รับอานุสงส์อันหาที่สุดมิได้ จะปรารถนาสิ่งใดในสัมปรายภพ ก็จักสำเร็จได้ดั่งมโนมัย แม้นในปัจจุบันชาติจะทำอะไรก็จักสำเร็จได้ดั่งทันใจ ตามมโนปณิธานแห่งความปรารถนา อันเป็นที่น่าอัศจรรย์ และในเทศกาลกฐินปี2557นี้ เป็นการจัดจุลกฐินสามัคคี (กฐินทันใจ) เพื่อรวบรวมทุนทรัพย์ในการจัดสร้างพระพุทธมหาธรรมราชาเชียงแสน (พระเจ้าหมายหมายเมืองเชียงราย) ถวายเป็นพุทธานุสรณ์ ในโอกาสสมโภชครบ 750 ปีเมืองเชียงราย ขอเชิญพุทธศาสนิกชนได้ร่วมสืบสานตำนานมหาบุญ จุลกฐินได้ที่วัดมิ่งเมือง(วัดช้างมูบ) ถนนไตรรัตน์ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดเชียงราย ตามกำหนดการดังนี้
วันเสาร์ ที่ ๑ พฤศจิกายน ๒๕๕๗ เป็นวันจัดแต่งดา
เวลา ๐๘.๐๐ น. จัดแต่งดาเครื่องประกอบพิธีจุลกฐินที่วัดมิ่งเมือง
เวลา ๑๗.๐๐ น. เป็นต้นไป เริ่มประกอบพิธีจัดทำผ้าจุลกฐินตลอดทั้งคืนถึงรุ่งเช้าจนสำเร็จเป็นชุดผ้าไตรจีวร
เวลา ๒๐.๓๙ น. ร่วมพิธีถวายทานต้นเก๊ยะและจุดต้นเกี๊ยะเพื่อถวายเป็นพุทธบูชา
ในวันออกพรรษาและสมโภชองค์กฐิน

เวลา ๐๘.๐๐ น. ตั้งขบวนแห่องค์จุลกฐินเข้าสู่บริเวณวัดมิ่งเมือง
เวลา ๐๙.๐๐ น. มีพิธีสืบชะตาหลวงเพื่อความเป็นศิริมงคลแด่ผู้มาร่วมงานทุกคน
เวลา ๐๘.๐๐ น. ถวายจุลกฐิน
เวลา ๐๘.๐๐ น. ถวายภัตาหารเพลแด่พระสงฆ์
รับประทานอาหารกลางวันพร้อมกันเป็นเสร็จพิธี
