มลพิษทางน้ำ (อังกฤษ: Water pollution) เป็นปัญหาทางน้ำมีสาเหตุสำคัญมาจากสิ่งเจือปนที่อยู่ในน้ำ ทั้งในรูปแบบของแข็งแขวนลอย และในรูปแบบสารละลาย โดยสิ่งเจือปนจะมีลักษณะที่แตกต่างกันออกไปตามแหล่งกำเนิดมลพิษ ได้แก่

1. โรงงานอุตสาหกรรม

2. อาคารบ้านเรือน และ ชุมชน

3. การเกษตร
