การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1. รักษาและวิเคราะห์สภาพปัจจุบันเพื่อกำหนดเกณฑ์มาตรฐานการปฏิบัติทักษะระนาดเอก 2. บูรณาการและพัฒนาชุดการฝึกปฏิบัติทักษะระนาดเอก 3. ทดสอบและประเมินชุดการฝึกปฏิบัติทักษะระนาดเอก 4. เผยแพร่และแบ่งปันองค์ความรู้การปฏิบัติทักษะระนาดเอก โดยการนำกระบวนการจัดการความรู้ 4 ขั้นตอน เข้ามาช่วยในการรวบรวมองค์ความรู้ที่มีอยู่กระจายกระจายให้เป็นระบบ และนำเทคโนโลยีสื่อคอมพิวเตอร์มัลติมีเดียเข้ามาช่วยในพัฒนาชุดการฝึกทักษะระนาดเอก เพื่อให้ผู้ที่สนใจสามารถนำความรู้ที่ได้ไปพัฒนาตนเองได้อย่างสะดวกและมีประสิทธิภาพ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ คือ อาสาสมัครผู้ที่สนใจฝึกทักษะระนาดเอกจากเครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ จำนวน 10 คน โดยแบ่งออกเป็น 2 กลุ่ม คือ กลุ่มที่ไม่มีทักษะทางดนตรีไทยมาก่อนเลยและอีกกลุ่มหนึ่งคือกลุ่มที่มีทักษะเล่นดนตรีเครื่องอื่นแต่ไม่เคยเรียนระนาดเอกมาก่อน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ 1.แบบสัมภาษณ์ 2. ชุดการฝึกทักษะระนาดเอก 3. แบบประเมินทักษะระนาดเอก 4.แบบประเมินความพึงพอใจ
