สำคัญของกรอบมาตรฐานคุณวุฒิระดับอุดมศึกษาแห่งชาติ
การเรียนรู้ หมายถึง  การเปลี่ยนแปลงพฤติกรรมที่นักศึกษาพัฒนาขึ้นในตนเองจากประสบการณ์ที่ได้รับระหว่างการศึกษา TQF  กำหนดผลการเรียนรู้ที่คาดหวังให้บัณฑิตมีอย่างน้อย 5 ด้าน  ดังนี้
ด้านคุณธรรมจริยธรรม (Ethics and Moral)  หมายถึง  การพัฒนานิสัยในการประพฤติอย่างมีคุณธรรมจริยธรรมด้วยความรับผิดชอบทั้งในส่วนตนและส่วนรวม  ความสามารถในการปรับวิถีชีวิตในความขัดแย้งทางค่านิยม  การพัฒนานิสัยและการปฏิบัติตนตามศีลธรรมทั้งในเรื่องส่วนตัวและสังคม
ด้านความรู้ (Knowledge)  หมายถึง  ความสามารถในการเข้าใจ  การนึกคิดและการนำเสนอข้อมูล  การวิเคราะห์และจำแนกข้อเท็จจริงในหลักการ  ทฤษฎี  ตลอดจนกระบวนการต่างๆ  และสามารถเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเองได้
ด้านทักษะทางปัญญา (Cognitive Skills)  หมายถึง  ความสามารถในการวิเคราะห์สถานการณ์และใช้ความรู้  ความเข้าใจ  ในแนวคิด  หลักการ  ทฤษฎี  และกระบวนการต่างๆ  ในการคิดวิเคราะห์และแก้ปัญหาเมื่อต้องเผชิญกับสถานการณ์ใหม่ๆ ที่ไม่ได้คาดคิดมาก่อน
ด้านทักษะความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างบุคคลและความรับผิดชอบ (Interpersonal skills and responsibility)  หมายถึง  ความสามารถในการทำงานเป็นกลุ่ม การแสดงถึงภาวะผู้นำ  ความรับผิดชอบต่อตนเองและสังคม  ความสามารถในการวางแผนและรับผิดชอบในการเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเอง
ด้านทักษะการวิเคราะห์เชิงตัวเลข  การสื่อสาร  และการใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ (Numerical analysis skills, communication and information technology skills)  หมายถึง  ความสามารถในการวิเคราะห์เชิงตัวเลข  ความสามารถในการใช้เทคนิคทางคณิตศาสตร์และสถิติ  ความสามารถในการสื่อสารทั้งการพูด การเขียน และการใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ
