การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1.เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยการอยู่ร่วมกันก่อนแต่งงานของวัยรุ่นในเขตเทศบาลตำบลทุ่งยั้ง อำเภอลับแล จังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์ 2.เพื่อหาข้อเสนอแนะและแนวทางการป้องกันและการแก้ไขปัญหาพฤติกรรมการอยู่ร่วมกันของวัยรุ่นในเขตเทศบาลตำบลทุ่งยั้ง อำเภอลับแล จังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) ใช้การสัมภาษณ์แบบเจาะลึก (In-depth Interview) ผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ คือ ผู้ที่มีประสบการณ์การการอยู่ร่วมกันก่อนแต่งงานจำนวน 10 คน ใช้วิธีการเลือกแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสัมภาษณ์ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหา ผลการวิจัยพบว่า
1) ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อพฤติกรรมการอยู่ร่วมกันก่อนแต่งงานของวัยรุ่นในเขตเทสบาลตำบลทุ่งยั้ง จากผลการวิจัยพบว่า ปัจจัยด้านการรรับวัฒนธรรมชาติตะวันตก เป็นปัจจัยสำคัญหลักที่ส่งผลให้เกิดการอยู่ร่วมกันก่อนแต่งงานมากที่สุด โดยผู้ให้สัมภาษณ์เกินครึ่ง ได้พูดถึงปัจจัยนี้เป็นส่วนมาก
2)แนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหาพฤติกรรมการอยู่ร่วมกันก่อนแต่งงานของวัยรุ่นในเขตเทสบาลตำบลทุ่งยั้ง ภาครัฐควรที่จะมีขอบเขตการดูแลและการให้ความรู้กับวัยรุ่นหรือหากิจกรรมให้วัยรุ่นทำอยู่เสมอเพื่อเป็นการไม่หมกมุ่นและใช้เวลาว่างให้เกิดประโยชน์ภาคชุมชนค้นหาข้อมูล เพื่อนำมาวิเคราะห์ครอบครัวที่มีปัญหา และประเมินผลกระทบต่อครอบครัวที่มีความเสี่ยงในการอยู่ร่วมกันก่อนแต่งงาน จากนั้นคอยติดตามผลและบันทึกอย่างต่อเนื่อง พร้อมกับร่วมกันจัดกิจกรรมครอบครัว
